Colloquia are interesting...

Physics people had a person come in to give a talk about his research, and what I came away with is that Russians are cool. The guy deals with emerging phenomena, and how systems can self-assemble on their own based on just a few parameters. Interesting topic that I didn't really know much about, as you sort of forget that motors and such do exist on a molecular scale as well. ASLUG installfest this weekend. I should probably tell parents about this, as I probably won't be doing as much lawn-mowing this weekend. Oh well.
